Applications

1. Potassium borofluoride can also be used for texture etching of aluminum alloys and etching of titanium and silicon wafers.

2. Mainly used as abrasives for thermosetting resin grinding wheels, raw materials for aluminum-magnesium casting to produce boron-containing alloys, fluxes for heat welding and brazing, raw materials for preparing boron trifluoride and other fluoride salts, analytical reagents for electrochemical synthesis, etc.

3. In addition, it is also used in low chromic acid chromium plating and lead-tin alloy electrolytes, as well as in welding and fusing silver, gold, stainless steel, etc.

Storage

1. Should be stored in a cool, dry warehouse. Store in tightly sealed packaging to prevent damage to the packaging. During transportation, be sure to protect it from rain, sunlight, and moisture.

2. When potassium fluoroborate exceeds the melting point, it decomposes into toxic boron trifluoride gas. In the atmosphere, potassium fluoroborate is rapidly hydrolyzed due to the action of water vapor and produces white smoke, which is irritating to the skin, eyes, and especially the lungs. effect.

Packing

Packed in glass bottles and packed in cartons. 0. 5kg per bottle. Packaging: 1kg, 25kg, 200kg.

Inspection and maintenance

1. Regular inspection
Stored potassium borate should be inspected regularly to see if its packaging is intact and whether there are moisture absorption, caking, discoloration, etc. If problems are discovered, measures should be taken promptly to deal with them.

2. Maintenance
Clean and maintain the storage environment regularly to keep it dry, ventilated and tidy. At the same time, you should also check whether ventilation equipment, fire-fighting equipment, etc. are operating normally to ensure the safety of the storage environment.
