Cryolite is a mineral with the chemical formula Na3AlF6. It is a small white crystalline substance with no odor. It is used as a flux in the aluminum electrolysis industry and as a sunshade in the production of milky white glass and enamel.

Potassium Aluminum Fluoride (KAlF4) is a commercial grade fused solid, inorganic salt. The material serves as an alternative to conventional fluoride salts for a variety of applications, a few of which are listed below.

The size can be:1-3mm, 20, 40, 100, 200 and 325mesh. It is composed by KF-AlF3, Molecular rate near 1.2, melting point 557-580. Solubility in 1000g water: at 0: 0.8g; at 25: 1.42g, at 100: 4.58g.
