(2)Description:
SJ431 is an agglomerated calcium-silicate type welding flux. Basicity: 1. 0 (B//W) It is gray and round grain,mesh:10-40.Regularly shaped

welds are deposited without reduction of area or interface notches. Slag detachability is good. A short slag is produced, thus allowing 

circumferential welding on small-diameter workpieces without the risk of uncontrolled slag. The production of large pipes

(especially spiral pipe welding) is a typical application for this flux. Relatively high manganese pick-up is obtained,

thus allowing the flux to be used with wires with a low Mn content. 

(3)Applications: 
The flux is fit for the submerge-arc welding of low-carbon steel and low-alloy steel. Butt and flat fillet welding of miniature LPG tanks pipeline steel,ships,vehicles,agricultural implements,machinery,boilers,structural steels.

Description
Melting flux HJ431 is a molten high manganese, high silicon and low fluorine flux. It is a brown to light yellow glassy granule. The particle size is 8-40 mesh. It can be used for both AC and DC welding. The wire is connected to the positive pole for DC welding.
 
Uses
Used in conjunction with H08A, H08MnA, H10MnSi and other welding wires to weld low carbon steel and certain low alloy steel (e.g. 16Mn, 15MnV, etc.) structures such as boilers, ships, pressure vessels, etc. Can also be used for electroslag welding and copper welding
